Pipe dreams

This picture was taken at one of the theme parks coming up at Auroville (Pondy). This place is a photographer's dream. It has lots of beautiful sculptures, very colorful ones too. If you cannot make it from this picture, the arrangement here, called The Way is made up of 18 salvaged steel oil tanks and is 65 feet tall, 102 feet long, and weighs 50 tons. I have visited this place only once. I want to go back there again because they have new additions to the park every year.

I like the way this shot came out, especially since, all you see in this shot is green, red and blue (maybe a little bit of black)! Hope you like it as much as I did.

What do you want ?

I took this picture in Nehru Street (Pondy) in the summer of 2010. I kind'a thought that this dog was too big for the car he was peeping out of. He was looking all over the place, until he saw me. Then he would not take his eyes off the camera with a "don't mess with me" stare! That was great because I could get an awesome shot!  Hope you like it!

Sunset at its best

This shot was taken at one of the backwaters in Pondy on way to Paradise Beach in the summer of 2009. My wife and I love this place. The boat drive to this place is awesome too. The little spect that you are seeing at the center of this shot is a bird. I have not done any post processing on this picture. It is coming straight from the camera.

This is again one favorite shot. I love the color of this morning sky. It was perfect. Autumn 2010.

Silhoutte

This is one of my favorite shots. I love the way the silhoutte of this tree looks with the background color of the sky. It just came out well. No Picassa touch on this one either. This is coming straight from the camera.

Storm Clouds

This photo was shot 3000 ft above the ground from the window of the flight bound from Ahmedabad to Chennai - early morning hours in the autumn of 2010.
